1. Be respectful and courteous to each other. No hatred or personal insults will be tolerated. Period. Since this is a Christian forum, the love of Christ is naturally expected.
2. This is a forum specifically for Christian role plays. That being said, all role plays must (at the very least) display the themes of the Bible. Role plays that are blatantly anti-biblical in nature and are not reflective on the truths that Christ or the Apostles taught will be removed.
3. All members must agree to the Statement of Faith provided. This may be done by posting your agreement on the Statement of Faith's thread.
4. Being that this is a role play forum, an effort to use correct and proper grammar and spelling is required. I do understand that no one is perfect, least of all myself, so that our posts may not reflect the epitome of the English language in all its proper form. However, posts that use chatspeak and/or blatantly forsake the use of grammar will be removed.
Examples:
"annie said, how r u today? and i was like, nuthin, how bout u?"
or
"michael is a anthro tomcat he has beige fur and one eye is blue and one eye is green his tail is shorter than most because it was chopped off in a tragic accent of some sort and that will be revealed in the rp at some point"
Out of character abbreviations are fine, but not in excess.
5. No power playing (taking control of someone else's character), unless given explicit permission by the person whose character you are using.
6. No god-modding (with the obvious exception of God). And please, do not play Jesus Christ just because you want to god-mod.
7. Please, no extended period of role playing God. The Bible states we, as Christians, are responsible for the sins of our brothers in some ways. Thus, I do not want anyone to fall into sin while portraying God. This is not to say that God can not have appearances throughout your role play; He can. But please do not actively play Him. His thoughts are not your thoughts and His ways are not your ways. Use discretion and be very careful.
8. Watch yo' mouth. I wil allow cursing on part of characters only, and even (especially, rather) then, I expect discretion. "Major" curse words will not be tolerated and warnings will be expected on every post that contains profanity. If wishing for clarification, PM me and we will discuss what is and is not allowed. I understand that this rule may seem a bit vague.
9. God's Name is sacred. Blasphemy (taking His Name in vain) will not be tolerated - period. Members are expected not to do it in posts out of character, and their characters may not do it in character. Any blasphemy on part of a character may ONLY be implied with a "____" or "bleep." To overstep this is a serious violation. Any member (staff included) will have their account temporarily locked for a period of twenty-four hours for violating it.
10. That being said, God's Name (any of them; Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, Yahweh, Jehovah, etc.) must always be capitalized. The only time in the Bible that the word "god" was ever written with the lowercase "g" is when it is referred to idols. God is not an idol. He is our all-powerful, loving, incredible Creator and Savior - His Name deserves, at the very least, a capital letter.
11. Rating is PG-13. No pornographic or otherwise extremely offensive material will be tolerated. (No role plays about sex.)
12. Neither the moderators or admins will invade role plays unless they violate the rules. While some may have personal feelings against despies, Mary-Sues, etc., feel free to role play them. Unless of course, the role play has specific rules against it.
13. Creators of the role play reserve the right to make rules that must be followed during the role play. Don't like it, don't join. Disobey, get kicked off.
14. No harassment of other members will be tolerated. Period.
15. No promoting other religions.
16. Glorify God.
